Luis Suárez continues to set new landmarks. With his goal against Celta in La Liga on Saturday, the Uruguayan striker now moves into the all-time top 10 goalscorers list in Barça history.

The FC Barcelona number 9 has a total of (127) goals in just 165 matches, equalling the current tenth place of Àngel Arocha, the legendary striker from the 1930s. Still ahead of him remain such names as Rivaldo and Samuel Eto’o, both on 130 goals, Ladislau Kubala on 194, César Rodríguez on 232 and the man who leads the list, the inimitable Leo Messi who has an astounding total of 524 goals to his name.

1- Leo Messi (524 goals)

The Argentine genius has a total of 524 goals as an FC Barcelona player. Top scorer in the Club's entire history, the Barça number 10 scored his very first goal in official competition in 2005 against Albacete. Since that moment the goals haven't stopped and neither have the records.

2- César Rodríguez (232 gols)

The Spanish striker scored 232 times in 355 games for FC Barcelona, making him the second highest goalscorer in the Club's history. César managed 14 seasons at Barça in two different spells between 1939 and 1955 in which he claimed a total of 12 trophies.

3- Ladislao Kubala (194 goals)

The Hungarian-born striker rounds off the top three with a total of 194 goals in 256 matches. Kubala was widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation and he spent 11 seasons at the Club between 1950 and 1961, winning 14 trophies in the process.

4- Josep Samitier (184 goals)

One of the first great heroes at FC Barcelona, Samitier scored 184 times in 232 games, as well as winning 18 trophies. His 15 seasons at the Club came between 1918 and 1933 and he was the undoubted leader on the field at Barça.

In fifth place on the list we find Escolà who scored 167 goals in 234 games in official competition for FC Barcelona. The striker from Barcelona played for the Club between 1934 and 1949 in which he won 10 trophies.

6- Paulino Alcántara (143 goals)

The striker who was born in the Philippines scored 143 goals in 132 matches in official competition. Alcántara scored some 369 goals inlcuding non-official games, making him top scorer in the Club's history until the arrival of Leo Messi. In between 1912 and 1927 he won 15 trophies as a Barça player.

7- Samuel Eto’o (131 goals)

One of the best players in the modern era at FC Barcelona, Samuel Eto'o scored 131 goals in 201 seasons for the blaugranes. The Cameroonian arrived at the Club in 2004 and was a key member of the squad that won the Champions League twice and achieved an historic treble. In five seasons between 2004 and 2009, the striker won 10 trophies.

Vitor Borba Ferreira, better known as 'Rivaldo', scored 130 goals in 235 matches as a blaugrana. The Brazilian came to the Club in 1997 and stayed until 2002. Aside from his goals and moments of magic that delighted the Camp Nou faithful, Rivaldo also won 5 trophies as a blaugrana.

The striker from Paléncia, Mariano scored 128 goals in 145 matches as a Barça player. In his eight seasons at the Club between 1940 and 1948 he won eight trophies and became one of the top goalscorers in FC Barcelona history.
