FC Barcelona will have to come from behind in the Spanish Super Cup if they are to claim the trophy after a 3-1 home defeat against Real Madrid in the first leg at Camp Nou. An own goal in the second half from Gerard Piqué gave the visitors the lead but a penalty from Leo Messi levelled things up for the blaugranes.

Nevertheless, late goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, who was later dismissed thanks to two yellow cards, and Marco Asensio mean that Barça have it all to do in the second leg in the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday evening.
