Barça could face Leganés, Sevilla or Valencia in the semi-finals

The current Copa del Rey champions continue smoothly in this season’s edition having knocked out Real Murcia, Celta Vigo and now Espanyol to reach the semi-finals thanks to their 2-0 win at Camp Nou in the second leg of the quarter-final.

Thanks to two legged victory over their city rivals, Barça have now reached the semi-finals of the competition for the eighth season in a row, a new Club record after they equaled last season the run of seven in a row from the team in the Copa del Rey between 1923/24 and 1929/30.

In the last four Barça’s possible rivals are Valencia, Leganés and Sevilla, three top flight opponents that will also go into the draw on Friday 26 January at 1.00pm CET.
