Sergi Roberto fights for the ball in the friendly against Celtic | MIGUEL RUIZ.FCB

FC Barcelona’s pre-season has come to an end and competitive football is right around the corner for Luis Enrique’s men. Here is a look at the most interesting facts from the side’s summer:

- Three wins out of four games. Barça beat Celtic (3-1), Leicester City (4-2) and Sampdoria (3-2) while losing to Liverpool (4-0).

- It was a high scoring pre-season at both ends for Barça, scoring ten times and conceding nine.

- There were five different goalscorers for Barça: Munir (3), Suárez (2), Messi (2), Arda and Mujica, while Celtic’s Ambrose scored an own goal

- Munir was the side’s top scorer in pre-season, with three goals, as he was last summer by scoring two braces against Helsinki and Leon.

- 31 footballers took part in four friendlies, many of whom were from Barça B: Jose Suárez, Martínez, Borja López, Gumbau, Aleñá, Carbonell, Marlon Santos, Nili, Alfaro and Mujica.

- Luis Súarez was the busiest of the lot, playing (312) minutes, followed by Arda (283) and Munir (270). Newboys Umtiti and Andre Gomes played the least – 30 minutes in the Gamper Trophy – due to their late arrival.

- Luis Suárez, Arda Turan, Messi and Mathieu were the four players who started in each of the four friendly matches

- Jordi Masip was the goalkeeper who played the most minutes (187) across three matches. Ter Stegen and Claudio Bravo played against Liverpool and Sampdoria, playing 81 minutes each. José Suárez from Barça B also featured for 16 minutes in the games against Celtic and Leicester.
