Rakitic scored another big goal on the road against a rival | MIGUEL RUIZ-FCB

  • With the 3-0 win away at Espanyol on Saturday, Barça extend their unbeaten run at the RCDE Stadium. The stadium, which was opened at the start of 2009/10 campaign has become a happy hunting ground for the blaugrana, having won six matches and drawn two, in which they have scored 16 goals and let in just two. Across the last 16 derbies, Barça have won 13 and drawn three.
  • Luis Enrique will go out undefeated against Espanyol as Barça boss. In his time at the helm, Barça have won seven of the eight meetings: six in La Liga and two in the Copa del Rey. In the 455 minutes of play between the sides at the RCDE Stadium, the hosts have yet to score.
  • Luis Suárez was back amongst the goals with a brace, one to open the scoring and the other to finish the game by making it 3-0. His double moves him back into second in the league scoring charts behind Leo Messi. He was also the scorer of the 1,000th La Lliga goal of 2016/17.

  • It was another fine Leo Messi performance who, despite not scoring, created five chances and set up Ivan Rakitic for 2-0. The Argentine is now up to 15 assists for the season, nine in La Liga.
  • Rakitic scored for the second away game in a row, following on from his thunderbolt in the Clásico. He is now the team's fifth top scorer of the campaign with nine, eight in the league, behind the front three and Arda Turan.
  • Barça completed 635 passes (81%), doubling those of the opposition (312). Sergio Busquets made the most successful passes with 70 out of 79, allowing Luis Enrique's men to control the game.
