After Atlético, focus switches to Sporting on Wednesday

Less than 24 hours after the big win away to Atlético Madrid, FC Barcelona were straight back at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday morning.

It was a recovery session for the players that featured at the Vicente Calderón, while the rest of team are already fully focused on the next objective, Wednesday’s midweek fixture in LaLiga against Sporting Gijón (7.30pm CET).

The first team players were joined by Wilfrid Kaptoum of Barça B.

The hectic schedule means there will only be time for one more workout, on Tuesday, before the next game, the first of two in a row at the Camp Nou. Manager Luis Enrique will be giving a press conference once that second session has concluded, some time after 12.30pm CET.
