Barça’s roller hockey team once again showed their best version in the rescheduled OK Liga clash against Calafell. The blaugranes won convincingly in a complete performance, especially during the first half. In the second, they managed to withstand the visitors’ fightback to seal their first home win of the season.

In top gear

The game began with Barça on the front foot. In the 11th minute, Alabart broke the deadlock with a precise shot. Soon after, Ferran Font doubled the lead, and Alabart, in inspired form, struck again with a brilliant goal to make it three before the break.

Keeping their cool

After the restart, the visitors responded with a goal from Sergi Folguera to make it 3–1, but Barça maintained control. Aleix Marimon reignited Calafell’s hopes with another goal, but just as the visitors were gaining momentum, Alabart completed his hat-trick. Jero García then pulled one back for the guests in a lively closing stretch.

Finally, Barroso claimed Barça’s fifth goal. Despite a late fightback from Calafell, the scoreline stayed the same, and the Palau Blaugrana celebrated the team’s first home victory of the season.
