FC Barcelona and David Cáceres have mutually agreed to part ways, and as a result, the roller hockey coach will not complete the contract that was set to run until 30 June 2026.

The club would like to publicly thank Cáceres for his commitment and dedication during the 2024/25 season.

Cáceres concludes his time at Barça having overseen a total of 49 matches across the OK Liga (34), WSE Champions League (10), Copa del Rey (1), Spanish Super Cup (2), and Catalan League (2). His record stands at 37 wins, 6 draws, and 6 losses, during which he led the team to titles in both the Spanish Super Cup and the OK Liga.

Two spells at FC Barcelona

David Cáceres's second spell at FC Barcelona comes to an end after four seasons as a coach. In addition to taking charge of the first team during the 2024/25 season, he also coached the U12 and U14 teams (2021–2024) and served as assistant coach of Barça Atlètic during the same period.

Cáceres's first spell at the club was as a player. After spending several years in the youth system, he joined the first team for the 1993/94 season, during which he won the Copa del Rey.
