Bittersweet debut for the new FC Barcelona player Kevin-Prince Boateng as he made his first appearance, in the starting XI no less, in the 2-0 defeat in the Copa del Rey against Sevilla. The former Ghanaian international lined up at centre forward and played 63 minutes before being replaced by Luis Suárez. Boateng showed a great understanding with his team mates in his first outing as a blaugrana, a sign of things to come in the future from the versatile 31 year old.
