The operation on the left knee of Barça's No. 12 was successful

First team player, Rafinha, has had the ligaments of his left knee successfully operated on. The intervention was carried out by Dr. Ramon Cugat under the supervision of the medical services of the Club, and he will be out of action for approximately six months.

It should be remembered that the player, who had a problem during the match at the Wanda Metropolitano, played four league games, two Champions League and one Spanish Super Cup match this season.

It’s not the first major setback suffered by the Brazilian either, after his serious injury in September 2015 against Roma. Right knee ligament problems on that occasion caused him to miss 202 days.

Bad luck also saw him injured on April 2, 2017 against Granada. During his 290 days of absence, an arthroscopy was applied to his right knee to solve the internal meniscus problem.
