Following the first game of their Copa del Rey defence, against Cultural Leonesa on Wednesday night (Round of 32 First Leg, 0-1), Ernesto Valverde's squad turned their attention back to LaLiga.

In Thursday training for their Saturday night game against Rayo Vallecano, the FC Barcelona coach ran a recovery session for the available players. Also present on Pitch 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva were Leo Messi and Samuel Umtiti -the latter of whom undertook part of the session with the group.

The starters in Leon were given recovery work, and Barça B players Iñaki Peña, Chumi, J. Cuenca, Miranda and Riqui Puig also trained with the first team.

The next session takes place tomorrow at 11am CET, after which Valverde will give a pre-match press conference for the meeting with Rayo Vallecano away from home.
