Increased attendance at the Camp Nou from the start of this season
The average number of spectators at home this season is 77,401, while in the previous campaign it was 71,180
FC Barcelona haven’t lost any matches at the Camp Nou this season, and in fact, they’ve accumulated a run of 42 league games without losing at home, so it’s understandable that the attendances have risen.
With the exception of the first League match against Alavés, the rest of the games have always exceeded 70,000 spectators, for an average of 77,401 attendees. El Clásico against Real Madrid provided the biggest attendance of the season with 93,265 spectators.
Barça - Alavés 52,356
Barça - Huesca 71,053
Barça - PSV 73,462
Barça - Girona 76,055
Barça - Athletic 78,015
Barça - Sevilla 88,712
Barça - Alavés 86,290
Barça - Real Madrid 93,265
The average of these first eight games (77,401) clearly exceeds the figure for the past year, which was 71,180 spectators, and is practically the same as in the 2016/17 season when the average was 77,876 spectators.
