The Blaugrana retained the leadership of the OK League after earning three more points against CP Calafell (1-6), a game in which the visitors imposed their offensive power throughout. Pablo Álvarez (2), who is the top scorer in the competition, Joao Rodrigues (2), Pau Bargalló and Sergi Panadero were on target for Barça Lassa.
CP Calafell were initially able to resist the Barça attack thanks to the good performance of goalkeeper Martí Serra, however, in the ninth minute of the match, Bargalló opened the scoring and, just a minute later, Panadero widened the advantage with a cross-shot. In the 16th minute, Joao Rodrigues made it 0-3, and four minutes later the same player added his second, Barça Lassa’s fourth.
At the start of the second half, Edu Castro's side ensured the same level of intensity and, in the first five minutes, Pablo Álvarez scored two goals that gave the visitors a 0-6 lead. Sergi Torné’s 45th minute response was nothing more than a consolation.
The next match, corresponding to the seventh day of the OK League, will be played on Saturday at 6.00pm CET at the Palau Blaugrana against CP Vic.
