The historic milestone includes goals scored in 592 official games and friendlies
Leo Messi's first half goal in Sevilla on Sunday night gave him a new milestone — 500 career goals with FC Barcelona. The Club's all-time leading scorer reached the new mark with 469 coming in official matches and 31 in friendlies.
Messi's 500 goals came as follows:
320 in La Liga
90 in the UEFA Champions League
39 in the Copa del Rey
12 in the Spanish Super Cup
5 in the FIFA Club World Cup
3 in the UEFA Super Cup
31 in friendlies.
The next four all-time goal scorers for Barça after Messi are:
Josep Samitier (361)
César Rodriguez (303)
László Kubala (281)
Messi's 469 goals in official games only is also the Club's top mark. On 20 March 2012 he surpassed the 234 goals scored by César Rodríguez.
Now, four and a half years later, Messi has doubled his output.
