FC Barcelona B were unable to get a winner at AE Prat, eventually having to settle for a scoreless draw which still keeps the team top of the league and continues a five-match unbeaten away run.
The tricky surface and the strength of the opposition met Barça had to resort to a slightly more direct approach to the game in an attempt to get ahead.
Rafa Mujica looked the most creative threat for the visitors, who forced the issue in the attacking third in the first half. Martínez and Palencia come close in the first 45.
Despite the hosts playing very narrow, Barça became more fluid in the second half largely thanks to the introduction of Aleñá and Marc Cardona. Barça came mightily close to pinch the points in the 87th minute through Xemi but his strike hit the woodwork.
