Barça Lassa and Jaka Blazic have reached an agreement for the Slovenian, 28 years old and 1'96, for one season. Blazic, who can play in both the centre or out wide, will provide a physical presence, intensity and bring the ability to score for Barça Lassa.
At MoraBanc Andorra, Blazic had a good 2017/18 season scoring 12 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in the Eurocup, and 13.6 points with 4.2 rebounds in the Endesa League, in 25 minutes on average.
Blazic has already played for six seasons in the Euroleague. Two were with Olimpija of Ljubljana (2011-13), two with Red Star Belgrade (2013-15) and two with Baskonia (2015-17). In total, Blazic has 116 matches under his belt in the best European Club competition, with an overall average of 7.4 points.
He's also been playing for the last three seasons in the Endesa League, two in Vitoria with Baskonia and one in Andorra with MoraBanc; a total of 105 games with an average of 8.8 points.
Finally, it’s worth noting that with Red Star Belgrade he won the Adriatic League (2015), the Serbian League (2015) and two Serbian Cups (2014 and 2015). With Olimpija in Ljubljana he won two Slovenian Cups and was part of the team that won the Eurobasket in 2017.
