Barça B v Gavà: Fortress Miniestadi holds firm again (4-0)

Another important victory is racked up by the reserve side as they remain in top spot

Barça B scored another vital three points on Saturday, winning three 4-0 against Gavà at the Miniestadi to move closer to the league title.

Despite key absentees in Tarin, Martínez, Varo and Rafa Mujica, the B team dominated from start to finish in a perfect performance in front of the home faithful.

Perea opened the scoring after 14 minutes with a fine individual effort, taking on two players before arrowing the ball past the keeper (1-0).

Cardona made it 2-0 ten minutes later, picking the ball up on the edge of the box and curling his effort into the corner of the net.

Barça continued their dominance into the second half and did not lose their hunger for more goals, as Romera added a third on 65 (3-0).

The evening was capped off on 80 minutes when Perea grabbed his second of the game. The win leaves Barça at the summit of the table, a point above Alcoyano.
