Strikers Leo Messi, Luis Suárez, and Neymar Jr, and goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, have already amassed over 3,000 minutes of action in 2016/17

We’re 47 official matches into the season, and as we come into the final stretch, we thought we’d take a look out which Barça players have been getting the most playing time over the season do far.

And top of the list is Leo Messi with 3,399, followed by Luis Suárez (3,348), Neymar Jr (3,096). In fact, the three members of the world famous trident!

The only other player to have surpassed the three grand mark is Ter Stegen (3,060).

Completing the top ten are Sergio Busquets (2,848), Sergi Roberto (2,780), Gerard Piqué (2,766), Samuel Umtiti (2,740), Ivan Rakitic (2,531) and Javier Mascherano (2,517).

Also with over two thousand minutes of action in all competitions we find Jordi Alba (2,145) and André Gomes (2,059).

The list continues with Arda Turan (1,758), Denis Suárez, (1,629), Lucas Digne (1,617), Rafinha (1,554) and Andrés Iniesta (1,484).

With less than a thousand accumulated minutes of playing time we find Jérémy Mathieu (965), Aleix Vidal (877), Jasper Cillessen (810) and Paco Alcácer (779), while the only player yet to get any time on pitch is reserve keeper Jordi Masip.

Not forgetting the players that left the club early on in the season: Claudio Bravo (270), Munir El Haddadi (124) and Sergi Samper (16) and a number of Barça B players that have had run outs with the first team: Borja López (90 minuts), Carles Aleñá (76), Àlex Carbonell (69), Marc Cardona (30), Nili (21) and Marlon Santos (18).

That a total of 30 different players that have featured this campaign, while three others (Masip, Douglas and Kaptoum) have been called up for the team but without receiving any time actually on the field.
