- FC Barcelona's comeback against Paris Saint-Germain will go down in history for more reasons than one. But the standout significance of the win was that it was the first time any team in European competition had overturned a 4-0 deficit from the first leg to qualify for the next round. The 96,290 fans were rewarded for their faith in the team as they witness a 6-1 win to make it into the Champions League quarter-finals.

Luis Enrique remains unbeaten at the Camp Nou in the Champions League since becoming Barça manager. Since 2014/15, when the Catalans ended up winning the title, they have won all 15 matches at home, with 50 goals scored and just seven conceded. Since the defeat against Bayern Munich at the end of the 2012/13 campaign, Barça are 20 games unbeaten at home with 19 wins and just one draw.
- Sergi Roberto opened his account for the season in the most spectacular way. The Barça youth product came on as a substitute and was on hand to net the dramatic 95th minute winner. It is his third ever Champions League goal, adding to the ones scored against BATE in 2011/12 and Bayer Lever Leverkusen in 2015/16.
- Luis Suárez’s stats at Camp Nou are mind-boggling, with 65 goals in 64 games played after his crucial opener against PSG. In total, since arriving at the club, he has netted 112 in 134 matches in all competitions. In addition, last night’s win saw the continuation of the tradition that when Suárez scores, Barça do not lose.

The epic comeback means that Barça have reached the last eight of Europe’s elite competition ten years running. Since 2007/08, when the team was knocked out by Liverpool, Barça’s name has always been in the draw for the quarter-finals.
