Gerard Piqué is left out of the squad for the trip to Granada

With the injured Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan and the suspended Leo Messi, Jordi Masip and Piqué are the two players to be left out by the coach for the Granada match with Aleñá coming into the matchday squad

Barça bring the international break to an end with an away trip to Granada. The blaugranas face the Andalucian side on Sunday and they do so with various absences from the match day squad. Aleix Vidal is a long-term injury, the injured Arda Turan joined him on the side-lines as well as the suspended Leo Messi. Turan sustained an injury to his right leg while on international duty and will be out for around three weeks. On top of this, Gerard Piqué didn’t take part in the final training session with permission from the manager and he has been left out of the squad.

Luis Enrique has worked with his available players and has called up 18 of them for the trip to Granada. The Asturian coach has left Jordi Masip out and brought Carles Aleñá from Barça B in. Therefore, the final match day squad is: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Rakitic, Sergio, Denis, Iniesta, Suárez, Neymar Jr, Rafinha, Mascherano, Paco Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes, Umtiti, Mathieu and Aleñá.

The 18 players will travel to Granada on Sunday to restart the domestic competition and start a demanding April in which the blaugranas face decisive Liga and Champions League matches.
