The 23-year-old Macedonian attacker has international pedigree and arrives from Paris Saint-Germain
After Elise Bussaglia, Natasa Andonova will become the second arrival for Barça Women on 1 July for the 2016/17 season. The Macedonian attacker arrives from Paris Saint-Germain, has signed until 2019. She has played for the European heavyweights for six months although she wasn’t available to face Barça as she had played for Rosengärd in the competition this year.
Andonova is only 23 but she already has a lot of experience at the international level. From 2015 to 2017 she was playing for the Swedish team Rosengärd and before that she was playing for Turbine Postdam in the German league between 2011 and 2015.
She was chosen as the best player at the European Under-19 Championship in 2010. The Macedonian can play in all three positions along attacking line. She is left-footed, technical and powerful. Thanks to these qualities she has scored lots of goals from outside the box.
Natasa Andonova’s statements:
“I am very happy to be joining FC Barcelona as they are a very good team. I like everything about the Club. I am very happy and it is a step forward in my career.”
“I know Line Røddik because we played together at Rosengärd. I know almost everything about Barça and I saw the games against PSG.”
