FC Barcelona will face the final stretch of the League season 11 points ahead of Atlético Madrid, 15 in front of Real Madrid and 16 ahead of Valencia. The top three teams are still alive in European competition, and will also play those games during this part of the campaign. Marcelino’s side, by contrast, will only have domestic commitments to attend to.
Until the end of the season, the most difficult trips for Barça will be the two duels against Sevilla and the visit to Balaídos. The first of those, against the Andalusians, will be next Saturday, March 31 (8.45pm CET) and the second, the Copa final at the Wanda Metropolitano, on April 21. Ernesto Valverde’s men will travel to Vigo on Matchday 33 and will host Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on the weekend of May 6/7.
Atlético will visit Real Madrid on April 8, and will also play against Imanol Alguacil’s Real Sociedad. Los Blancos head to the Sánchez Pizjuán, the Camp Nou and Villarreal’s Estadio de la Cerámica.
