Jules Kounde's summer holidays will have to wait as France became the first team at the 2026 World Cup to reach the semi-finals following on from their 2-0 win over Morocco in the quarter-finals.
The Barça defender played 87 minutes of the quarter-final before being replaced by Malo Gusto. Kounde did not lose any of the four duels he took part in during the game and completed 31 of 31 passes.
Jules Kounde and France now await the outcome of the quarter-final between Spain and Belgium to find out their opponents in a semi-final which will take place on Tuesday, 14 June at 9pm CEST.
