FC Barcelona and its Foundation are launching an extraordinary fundraising campaign to respond to the humanitarian emergency affecting millions of people in Venezuela. As a demonstration of their commitment to protecting children and the most vulnerable families, the FC Barcelona Foundation will make an initial contribution of €100,000.

These resources will be used to strengthen the work of the humanitarian organisations with which the Barça Foundation maintains regular partnerships and which are working on the ground, providing emergency assistance, child protection, access to clean water, food, healthcare, education and support for displaced people.

The humanitarian situation in Venezuela continues to affect millions of people, especially children and adolescents, who require a coordinated response from the international community. In light of this reality, the FC Barcelona Foundation is appealing to members, supporters' clubs, fans, businesses and the public to join this solidarity initiative.

The funds raised will be channelled through humanitarian organisations with a proven track record, operational capacity and presence on the ground, ensuring that contributions reach those who need them most.

The FC Barcelona Foundation thus reaffirms its commitment to children's rights, the values of solidarity and responding to humanitarian emergencies around the world.

Solidarity round-up

To encourage participation across the entire Barça community, from 1 July FC Barcelona will introduce a solidarity round-up mechanism at various points of sale within the club's facilities. Anyone making a purchase will be able to make a voluntary contribution by rounding up the amount of their transaction. All funds raised will be used to support the humanitarian actions undertaken by the organisations benefiting from the emergency campaign for Venezuela.
