FC Barcelona announces that Juliano Belletti will continue in charge of Barça Atlétic after renewing his contract with the Club. The Brazilian coach came to the youth coaching set up at Barça in 2023 as assistant coach to the U19A side and he will spend a second season in charge of the blaugrana second team. 

The former Barça player was at the centre of the recent 20th anniversary of the Champions League win in Paris in 2006 thanks to his winning goal in the final against Arsenal. 

In his first season as coach he fulfilled expectations in developing and training his squad with plenty of the players enjoying time with the first team and others coming up from the U19 squads. 21 players made their debuts for Barça Atlètic last season, many of them U19s in a season in which Belletti used 42 players in total. 

Belletti will continue to head a project with a team that serves as the final stop on the way to professional football.
