Path to victory

The Copa del Rey was decided in a final eight format, meaning the blaugranes had to win three matches in just three days to claim the trophy. Victories over Recoletas Atl. Valladolid and Viveros Herol BM Navas were followed by a commanding victory in the final against Irudek Bidasoa Irun in the final. A perfect warm up for Carlos Ortega's team ahead of their bid for victory in handball's Champions League in Germany.
