The FC Barcelona men's team are just 90 minutes away from making history. More history. Should Hansi Flick's side overcome Real Betis Balompié at the Spotify Camp Nou this weekend, they will have won every single home match in the 2025/26 LaLiga season. It hasn't been done for 40 years by any team in LaLiga, not since Real Madrid CF did it in the 1985/86 season. However, it would be the first time ever by a side since LaLiga was expanded to 20 teams.

Blaugranes have done it four times before

From a purely Barça standpoint, it's a feat that hasn't happened for 66 years. You have to go back to the 1959/60 season for the last time, when the side coached by Helenio Herrera won all their matches at the Spotify Camp Nou... when the league had just 16 teams. It's worth noting that they also achieved a full house of victories the season before too.

Prior to those two seasons, FC Barcelona won every home match in the 1952/53 season with Ferdinand Daucik as coach. That time the record was achieved at the former Estadio de Les Corts. You have to go back to the 1948/49 season for the first time when there were just 14 teams in the league, with Uruguayan Enrique Fernández as coach and matches were also played at Les Corts.
