Ewa Pajor has been finding the back of the net at an extraordinary rate for many, many years now, first in Poland, then in Germany, and now with Barça. The Polish forward is a proven goalscorer, and a winner of several major trophies. However, one is still missing: the most coveted of all, the Champions League. In her first season as a Barça player, she fell just short, losing in the final, and now she approaches the first leg of the semi-finals at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich in ambitious and excited mood.

Pajor appeared before the press on Friday ahead of Saturday's first leg along with coach Pere Romeu.  Despite having played many years in Germany with Wolfsburg, and having faced Bayern on numerous occasions, she has never done so at the Allianz Arena, so the semi-final will be special for her. "It's an incredible stadium. For women's football, it's fantastic that big teams play in big stadiums. Women's football is developing a lot, and I'm very proud that we can compete in settings like this," said Pajor.

Pajor feels the Barça Women squad are "very well prepared for the match. We're really eager and we're in a good place. We're calm." However, she is aware of the calibre of the opponent they are facing "We beat them 7-1, and we can take positive things from that day, but tomorrow will be different. They're a very good team and we have to give everything. We know it won't be easy."

Still, she is clear that the key lies in "playing our game and dominating it from the first minute. We've analysed them well and we're prepared for whatever they might do. We're focused on our game." A clear message, just like the objective: to put in a strong performance in Munich and return to Barcelona with a favourable result to seal the tie at Spotify Camp Nou.
