Hansi Flick has named his squad for today's derby against Espanyol, kick-off at 6.30pm CEST, and which presents a golden opportunity to establish what is starting to look like an unassailable lead at the top of the Liga table after Real Madrid could only draw with Girona on Friday night.

The big news is that Frenkie de Jong has been included in the team after he was declared fully fit this week. The injured Bernal, Raphinha and Christensen remain absent.

The full squad is thus as follows: Cancelo, Balde, Araujo, Cubarsí, Gavi, Ferran, Pedri, Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Joan Garcia, Rashford, Fermín, M. Casadó, Gerard Martín, Roony, Olmo, F. de Jong, Kounde, Eric, Szczesny, Eder Aller, Cortés and Xavi Espart.

Flick now has to decide which of those players will form the starting XI for this game. A difficult decision because he will surely also want to bear in mind the hugely important Champions League game away to Atlético Madrid on Tuesday, for which he'll want his players to be as fresh as possible. Rotations are therefore a distinct possibility. But who and where? We'll find out later today.
