The morning after the painful 2-0 defeat to Atlético Madrid, activity resumed at the Ciutat Esportiva with the pleasant sight of Frenkie de Jong back with the group as he continues to progress with his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The Dutchman joined a session alongside other players that did not feature in the Champions League quarter finals, while those that did went through the usual recovery routine.
Eder Aller, Xavi Espart, Cortés and Tommy of the reserves also joined Hansi Flick for the Thursday session, with all eyes now on Saturday's derby against Espanyol.
The final session before the game will be on Friday at 11am CET, after which Flick will be giving a press conference at around about 1pm CET before heading to the Estadi Johan Cruyff for a the traditional pre-game photo session with Espanyol boss Manolo González.
