Barça remain unstoppable. Their 23rd win in 23 matches means the title is now within touching distance. Puente Genil may have started brightly in the opening exchanges, but the Catalans were in control throughout and this game was never going to be anything other than another blaugrana victory.

A series of fast breaks were soon ripping through the opposition defence, with Ian Barrufet and Domen Makuc particularly sharp and efficient. Combined with seven saves from Viktor Hallgrímsson, Barça went into the break with a commanding 9–20 lead.

The second half brought more of the same. interval. Puente Genil, despite their efforts, were unable to halt Ortega’s attacking storm, while Barça also impressed defensively.

Dika Mem was the standout performer after the break, producing a series of high-quality goals and attacking plays. In goal, the young Mihajlo Sarić delivered an excellent display with nine saves.
