Barça Atlétic went down to a 1-0 home defeat to league leaders Sant Andreu at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Saturday. Juliano Belletti's team had chance after chance but poor finishing and a solid defensive display from the visitors contributed to their downfall and a third straight defeat.

Chances

A goalless first half saw Barça enjoy the better of the game, striking the post on the half hour mark. Leaders Sant Andreu looked to hit the blaugranes on the counter but in the opening period Barça keeper Bernad was rarely forced into action.

Into the second half and it was the visitors who struck, Lucas Viña pouncing on a loose ball to make it 1-0 to Sant Andreu. Second half substitute Antonio Fernández had an opportunity to equalise as did Ureña with a header but neither found the net. Late on a free kick from Cortés struck the crossbar but there was no avoiding a third consecutive reverse for Barça Atlètic.
