The Electoral Board met today at the Auditori 1899 at the Spotify Camp Nou to announce the final candidates for the elections on 15 March to decide the next FC Barcelona president.

After completing the validation process for the submitted signatures, vice-president and secretary of the Board of Directors Josep Cubells; the Electoral Board, comprised of chair J. Ignacio Soler-Cabot Serra and members Jordi Serra Macià, Gerard Coderch Bastias, Mercè Ibarz Domingo and Antoni Ortega y Bayo, presented the results and announced Joan Laporta i Estruch and Víctor Font i Manté as official candidates for the presidency of FC Barcelona, ​​as set out in the article 48.5 of the Club Statutes.

The Electoral Board also wanted to thank the Club staff, the handwriting experts and the member auditors for their efforts during the period, and the work done by the Members Union, Ramon Estebe y Blanch, and notary public Gerardo Conesa during the validation of the process.

Now the candidates have been announced, the electoral campaign will begin tomorrow 6 March and end with voting day on 15 March.
