Awards galore at the 'Gala de les Estrelles' for Catalan Football

Once again, FC Barcelona were the main winners at the 'Gala de les Estrelles' for Catalan Football. Six of the 13 awards in various categories set out by the Catalan Football Federation went to the blaugranes in the 13th edition which took place on Sunday in the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm in Barcelona.

The Club was represented by vice presidents Rafa Yuste, Elena Fort and Antoni Escudero, as well as Aureli Mas, the board member responsible for futsal. Also present were Jordi Casals, Barça Atlètic president and Bojan Krkic, coordinator of the football area. Representing the football and futsal teams were men's first team player Pau Cubarsí, women's first team player Clara Serrajordi and futsal player Adolfo, all three of whom were amongst the winners.
Lamine Yamal and Aitana, the best; Cubarsí and Serrajordi, young winners
Barça's teenage sensation Lamine Yamal took the award for best male player and Aitana Bonmatí added to her collection of individual prizes in the women's category. Bojan Krkic accepted the awards on behalf of both players. There were winners also for the blaugranes in the category of 'Youth Excellence', Pau Cubarsí taking the men's award and Clara Serrajordi the women's.
Adolfo and Alexia Putellas also winners
Continuing with women's football, Alexia Putellas took the award for top scorer, picking up the baton from Claudia Pina, the winner last season. Finally, in the field of futsal, Barça's Aldolfo was named best player, rounding off another successful evening of awards for FC Barcelona.
