FC Barcelona players Pedro González and Claudia Pina have received the Barça Players Award, a distinction given annually by the Club's Players Association in recognition of fair play during the season. The Association's president, Juan Manuel Asensi, and Club director Josep Ignasi Macià presented the awards to the players at a ceremony at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training complex.

The event was also attended by the directors of the Association, Rafael Zuviría and Antonio Olmo, the first team former player, Cristina Molina, and Carme Nieto, one of the pioneers of the FCB Women's team. The Barça Players Award values commitment to the Club and society, as well as respect for fans and rival teams, and referees. It was the members of the Association themselves who chose Claudia and Pedri in a vote held at the end of last season.

Pedri already received the Association's award in the 2022 edition, while Claudia Pina is receiving this recognition for the first time. The Association launched the Barça Players Award in 2010, and the first player to be awarded was Bojan Krkic.
