Barça is all the rage in Poland thanks to three stars who currently play for the club. The fact that Robert Lewandowski, Wojciech Szczęsny and Ewa Pajor are key figures for the men’s and women’s teams has sparked even more excitement than ever among Polish fans, where there was already a vibrant support for FC Barcelona.
Poland has historically produced many talented players, and for that reason the Barça Academy has decided to return to the country after a period without any schools in the country. The project will begin with several camps aimed at having an impact nationwide, with the intention of being active in different cities such as Warsaw and Bydgoszcz. The club hopes to re-establish Barça Academy programmes based on the Barça methodology, offering the chance for as many Polish boys and girls as possible to take part.
Barça experience
Both sides also plan to organise activities in Poland and to bring boys and girls to Barcelona to experience the club firsthand. Every year the Barça Academy welcomes participants from academies and camps around the world to its facilities. In 2025 alone, more than 4,500 children from across the globe have enjoyed the chance to immerse themselves fully in this experience.
