The Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez is set to be one of the venues for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games next summer. As part of preparations for the occasion, the government is undertaking widespread development of installations in the country in view of the international event. This has meant that the stadium will not be ready for the Barça Legends match against Real Madrid Leyendas that was set to be played on 13 December.

The Club has shown understanding and has decided to change the date of the match for the side coached by Albert "Chapi" Ferrer to Saturday 14 March 2026. As such, the blaugrana fans in the Dominican Republic will have to wait a bit longer to see their idols. 

Tickets already purchased will be valid for the new date

The organisation has confirmed that tickets already purchased for the 13 December match will be valid for the new date and anyone who cannot or doesn't want to attend on the new date can obtain a refund for the ticket price.
