Agreement to extend Eric Garcia's contract until 30 June 2031
Catalan player staying at the club for at least five more seasons
FC Barcelona and it player Eric Garcia have reached an agreement for his contract to be extended by five seasons, through to 30 June 2031.
The player will be putting pen to paper at an event next Thursday 11 December at 1.30pm CET in the president's office, after which Eric will be speaking to the media.
Setting an example
The decision is a show of faith in a player who was raised at La Masia and has set a wonderful example for youth players. His performances, maturity and commitment were all major factors in the extension of his bond to the club.
Eric Garcia will thus be continuing to offer talent, leadership and stability and today's announcement is something the club celebrates, and the fans surely do too.
