Barça earned an important win over PSG at the Pierre de Coubertin, delivering an excellent first half, building a solid lead at the break (13–19), but seeing how the French side improved after the restart and put the blaugranes under real pressure. PSG pulled back to within a single goal late on, but Barça held firm and secured two hard-fought points (27–30).

N’Guessan and Fàbregas, with seven goals each, were the top scorers in a victory that gives Barça their seventh win in eight rounds.

Strong first half

After a balanced start (5–5, 7'), Barça gradually took control and began to look more comfortable. A 4-0 run gave them an early four-goal margin (5–9, 13'), and a series of big saves from Nielsen helped them reach half-time with a commanding advantage (13–19).

PSG fight back, but Barça finish the job

Barça started the second half well, solid in defence and sharp in attack, but PSG refused to give in. The hosts turned the momentum around quickly: from 13–22 after a Fàbregas goal (34') to 21–22 (45') thanks to a 7–0 run and several saves from Løvkvist. PSG kept pushing and eventually closed to within one (23–24, 49').

Barça, however, kept their composure, dug deep and made the decisive plays in the closing minutes to seal the win (27–30).
