Albert Ferrer's Barça Legends team will face Real Madrid Leyendas on Saturday 8 November in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador. Kick off will be at 7pm local time, 3am CEST on Sunday. The game will be the second of the season for the team after their fixture in Abuja, Nigeria on 25 October against an African Football XI. The match in San Salvador will be played at the Estadio Nacional Jorge “El Mágico González”, which holds 30,000 fans and is the main stadium for national and international events in El Salvador.
Debut and return
For the game coach Ferrer will be able to call upon Carles Puyol and Romário, the Brazilian having made his debut for the Legends last season in a game in his home country in Curitiba. A debutant will be Touré Yaya, the Ivory Coat midfielder played for Barça from 2007 to 2010 winning two league titles, a Copa del Rey and a Champions League. The rest of the squad will be announced in the coming days.
