On the morning of Saturday 27 September, nearly 700 FC Barcelona members with more than 25 years of loyalty received the club’s silver badge. Elena Fort, Institutional Vice-President; Antonio Escudero, Vice-President of the Social Area; Josep Maria Albert, director responsible for rugby; Josep Ignasi Macià, director responsible for the Social Area; Xavier Puig, director responsible for women’s football; Joan Solé, director responsible for handball; and Joan Soler, director responsible for youth football, were in charge of presenting the badges at an emotional ceremony held at the Palau Blaugrana. The event was enlivened by the presence of the club’s mascot, Cat, as well as two presenters and the screening of several videos.

Members will soon be able to download a photograph of the moment they received their silver badge from the members section of the club website. In addition, together with their guests, they enjoyed an invitation to the Immersive Tour in the FC Barcelona Museum.

Meanwhile, three Barça school kits were raffled among members aged 0 to 14 who responded to a survey aimed at improving the services the club offers its youngest members.

With these silver badges, the club recognises and thanks the support of those who made the commitment to become members of the organisation and who have contributed to Barça’s growth. The presentation of these badges is a simple gesture, but one full of symbolism.
