Another day of training brings us a step closer to the second game of the league season. And the other focus of attention this Thursday at the Ciutat Esportiva was Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who is training with his colleagues and into the final stages of his recovery. This very August 21, he celebrates his 37th birthday, which naturally meant the traditional antics among the players to honour the occasion.

There's clearly a fine atmosphere among Hansi Flick's players with just two days to go before they travel to Valencia for the 9.30pm CEST kick-off on Saturday at the home of newly-promoted Levante.
