First game of preseason and a first title for Pere Romeu's Barça Women as they defeated FC Badalona Women by 1-0 in the final of the Copa Catalunya. Ewa Pajor got the only goal of the game to hand the trophy to the blaugranes in the Estadi Municipal de Peralada.

Tight start

The contest began with both sides having spells on top before Aïcha Cámara went close on a couple of occasions for the blaugranes. Barça keeper Gemma Font made a decent save to prevent Badalona from taking the lead before Pajor missed the best chance of the half for the blaugranes.

The goal comes

After a goalless first half, Pajor finally found a way through in the 54th minute thanks to a great assist from Caroline Graham Hansen. In front, the blaugranes grew in confidence and a second for Carla Julià was chalked off due to offside. The final whistle brought the Copa Catalunya trophy and now the blaugranes will prepare for their two game preseason tour of Mexico.
