Defeat in the Palau Blaugrana by 81-59 against Unicaja means that the league quarter-final play off will be decided in game three in Málaga on Sunday. Joan Peñarroya's side failed to take advantage of playing at home and were on the back foot in game two right from the very start.

The Palau Blaugrana got right behind the side from the start, aware that a win would send the blaugranes into the semi-finals. Barça responded taking an early 5-0 lead but Unicaja soon settled into their rhythm and the visitors eased into a 26-17 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Parra and Punter did their best at the beginning of the second period to get Barça back into the contest but by minute 15 Unicaja still lead at 36-25. The blaugranes cut the deficit to five points but by half time they were down 44-35.

Unicaja's defense held strong in the second half and the visitors were able to extend their lead to 52-38 in the third quarter. Going into the final quarter, Barça trailed 66-48 and there was too much to do to bring the game back. Unicaja took a 81-59 win to take the tie to a third game decided in Málaga on Sunday at 12.30pm CEST.
