There is no denying that Ferran Torres is having a great season. The man from Valencia is having an impact both as a starter and coming off the bench with 18 goals this season, his best ever total. His goal in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid also means he is top scorer in the competition.

Player of the match and top scorer

Ferran's goal came with Barça 2-1 down and with just six minutes remaining to take the game into extra time in which Jules Kounde came up with the winner in the 116th minute. The striker's six goals in the competition in five matches, which included a hat-trick in the quarter-finals against his former club Valencia in Mestalla, played a key role in Barça taking their 32nd victory in the competition.

A goal every 52 minutes

Coming into the final, Ferran was level with Atlético's Julián Álvarez and Real Madrid's Endrick on five goals. His strike in La Cartuja earned him the title of top scorer, notching a goal every 52 minutes of the Copa del Rey before Saturday's win in the final.
