Another win for the league leaders and a step closer to the league title. For Barça coach Hansi Flick the tight 1-0 scoreline in the win over Mallorca at the Estadi Olímpic was not a reflection of the game. "Fantastic," was how the German described his team's performance, also admitting he was pleased as his side "committed less errors than in previous matches."

Asked about the eight changes he made to the side for the visit of Mallorca in La Liga, Flick said: "Everyone did a great job and it's really positive to see the players feeling part of the team. We had a lot of chances to score more goals but I'm happy with the performance."

Another virtuoso performance from midfielder Pedri did not escape the attention of the coach. "It's difficult to see his limit," said Flick before praising Ansu Fati: "A great day for him. His team mates support him and the fans as well so this will give him confidence."

Eric Garcia's appearance at full back also garnered praise from the coach: "He was excellent, he's very professional and great in the dressing room and he showed that on the field."

The next game comes in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, who are also their closest rivals in the league. "It's no surprise to see trophies decided between two great teams. I have a lot of respect for them and Ancelotti, who is one of the best in the world," concluded Flick.
