April is being kind to Barça - into the semi-finals of the Champions League, top of the table in La Liga, the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid is coming up this month, and to add to all this, Pedri has been nominated for player of the month for April by La Liga.

The midfielder from the Canary Islands has started both league games played by Barça this month so far, the 1-1 draw at home to Betis and the 1-0 away victory at Leganés. The four points picked up have been vital in keeping Hansi Flick's team top of the table ahead of Real Madrid. 

Pedri is battling against Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia), Javi Puado (Espanyol), Sergi Darder (Mallorca) and Julián Álvarez (Atlético Madrid) for April's award with two league games still to come to see who will be named best player of the month in La Liga.
