Conflicting emotions for Hansi Flick after the excellent victory over Villarreal in the Estadio de la Cerámica. Barça's German coach was delighted with his team's performance in the 5-1 win away from home to record a sixth win in six matches in La Liga. However, Flick was also concerned over the injury to goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen just before half time in the win.

"I am very proud of the way the team played and the role of my players. That fans have enjoyed a fantastic, dynamic match," said the coach. "I'm happy because the team was compact at all time, in attack and in defence. We were intense during the 90 minutes and I love that attitude. We were focused at all time but we also enjoyed playing some good football," continued the German.

For the Barça boss it was a team victory. Asked about Lamine Yamal's performance, Flick also pointed out the figures of Raphinha, Lewandowski and the defence. The one individual he did comment on was fellow German Marc-André ter Stegen and his injury. "He is a very important player for us and I'm sad, it was accidental," concluded the blaugrana boss.
