Luis de la Fuente names five from FC Barcelona in provisional Euro 2024 squad

Pau Cubarsí, Pedri, Fermín López, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal are all included in Monday's announcement

Spain manager Luis de la Fuente announced this Monday his provisional list of 29 players for the European Championship in Germany this summer. Five of those are from Barça, namely Pau Cubarsí, Pedri, Fermín López, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal.

The list is completed by Unai Simón, David Raya, Alex Remiro, Dani Carvajal, Jesús Navas, Laporte, Le Normand, Nacho, Vivian, Grimaldo, Cucurella, Rodrigo, Zubimendi, Fabian, Merino, Marcos Llorente, Aleix Garcia, Alex Baena, Morata, Joselu, Oyarzabal, Dani Olmo, Nico Williams and Ayoze.

Three of those players will need to be dropped before the competition starts on June 14. De la Fuente plans to announce the definitive squad on June 7.

Other Barça call-ups

Ter Stegen and Gündogan (Germany), João Cancelo and João Félix (Portugal), De Jong (Netherlands), Lewandowski (Poland) and Kounde (France) are also all among the players short-listed for the continental championship.
