Barça 8–0 Sevilla: Golden victory

Four-goal Salma Paralluelo is outstanding in a comfortable rout of the Andalusians

On the day that Aitana Bonmati paraded her Ballon d'Or trophy, it was Salma Paralluelo who took centre stage by scoring four of the massive eight that Barça fired past Sevilla, and she only needed the first half the game to do it in.

With the Rolling Stones tongue and lips on their shirts, Caroline Graham also stood out with a hat-trick of assists, taking her to the top of the Liga F in that category.

Paralluelo stole the show today, heading home the first of her 'poker' of goals after just seven minutes. She then converted a Lucy Bronze cross and had already completed a hat-trick after just 37 minutes, and while the fans were still celebrating, she did it yet again!

The result was already decided when Mariona decided to become the start of the second half. She fired in perhaps the best goal of the day and quickly added another with such force that visiting keeper Yolanda Aguirre simply could not keep her hands on it. That was 6-0.

Alexia Putellas then supplied Hansen with goal number seven, before Marta Torrejón came on as a substitute to make her 400th appearance for the team, and topped the day by scoring the eighth and final goal in injury time.
